In that period of history, there were wars among the peoples EVERYWHERE, and Turks didnt put an end to that. Its just that instead violence between Bulgarians and Serbs we saw violence between Turks and anyone that was christian. I dont know about Middle Eastern people, but people in the Balkans have been constantly killed, converted and enslaved by the Ottomans.
Going by your logic it would be best for our planet to be taken over by aliens and we should all be their slaves, because thats the best way to end violence and inequality among our species??? Going also by your logic, you could say that the Spanish brought peace and prosperity, because south americans were killin/enslaving eachother as well. Except that in spanish case, at least they brought civilization, education and technology amongs the bad things, while the Turks brought almost only the bad stuff (except cofee and Baklava and certain other types of food :) )
