Probably just delayed so they can release it on 360 and WiiU at the same time, that way they don't lose any potential sales by making the PS3 version a timed exclusive.

PS3 will be the only console with a demo though.

Last of Us is a Sony IP.

That is apparently not stopping Wonderful 101 or Bayonetta 2 lol

What does that have to do with those games? Those games have nothing on Last of Us and even though I am sure they'll be enjoyable, I believe they are second party exclusives published by Nintendo by Platinum Games. The Last of Us is an intellectual property of Sony and is made by an in house team.
