Picked this up after the glowing reviews its gotten. I'm not a fan of tactical RPG's normally, but with such praise I wanted to give it a shot. Yeah and I really can't stand the thought of perma death for any of my characters so I have to restart anytime someone dies. On chapter 7, slowly but surely I guess.

I'm the same way. I can't stand on playing on a harder difficulty than Normal, because it's already difficult enough to keep everyone alive.

I swear it took me months before I managed to beat Path of Radience on Normal without losing anyone, but that was my first Fire Emblem game.

PoR had a easy normal mode.  Tho not as easy Sacred Stones on Normal.
