S.T.A.G.E brought something to my attention and how we always see so much excitement over sequels going into the next generation.  He says he knows what to expect coming from Sony but not Microsoft and that is cool and all but honestly we really don't know what to expect from either, but that is a different story.  Personally I am looking more forward to new IP's than sequels.  That is why I am anxiosly awaiting to see what studios like Black Tusk Studios and Media Molecule's new project are.  I mean i love my Halo games and Uncharted games but I look more forward to hearing about new IP's over the inivetable games i know I'll be getting.  So how does people feel about a ton of sequel games for launch?  Personally I find it to be a bad idea to launch a bunch of sequels because your launch period is also the best time to create a new successful franchise because people are more open minded to trying things when they first buy a piece of hardware. Sure release a squel or two at launch to help push hardware but dont only rely on them either.  Discuss
