Is the videogame industry reducing itself to reselling the same content to make money?

Yes, this is a thing. They keep re-selling us games because we keep re-buying them.

I am getting concerns it could be gettng worse.  Square-Enix is a major offender here to.  All they seem to do that even resonates somewhat is rereleasing Final Fantasy.
