If nintendo were to make a new ip, what genre should it be?

Would like to see nintendo try on the shooter category too.. just for the fact that i have no idea on what they would do with it.
Doubt it would be gory or anything like that.. so.. what else is there to this?
I have no clue and that's why i want them to have a go at it!
