If Sony and Microsoft were to really push this with their next consoles, they better be ready for a lot of broke, ghetto mofo's to poof and disappear right after getting their hands on it. I know a lot of people that sign contracts just for a phone and never intend to pay for it in the long run. How funny would it be to see someone's PS4 get repo'd though?
EDIT: Just remembered you can pretty much already do this through major retailers like Best Buy. With half-decent credit, you can get on an 18-month, no interest plan. So it's not like it's all that cutting edge.
