This thread reminds me, I've been meaning to replay Secret of Mana for a while now. I still have my cartridge but I might just virtual console it, too bad Nintendo is being lazy with bringing games over to the Wii U shop.

E.V.O. the Search for Eden is also a criminally under played game.  Super unique.

The Mana series is one I've always wanted to do a proper playthrough of, as I really enjoyed Legend of Mana of the PS1. Have you played Seiken Densetsu 3? It was never released outside of Japan, but, from what I played of it, it is pretty enjoyable, and the fan translation is top notch.

Actually, after watching a few videos of EVO, it looks like it gets pretty interesting. The sight of a bunny kicking the hell out of a Mammoth is hilarious! I should probably give it another chance...

EVO is fun, and gives you a few options leveling up (you can remain a dinosaur, become a bird, a mammal, or a man to end the game for instance.)

I love the games in the Mana series that I've played, but those are only Secret, Legend, and Sword of.  Sword of Mana is a remake of the first game in the Mana series on the GBA.  It's a great game if you liked Secret of Mana.

Sounds like it has a lot of replay value.

I had no idea that Sword of Mana was a remake... O_O
