Are the HD silent hill game still a great experience?

They are completely seperate stories and games.

1 and 3 ar somewhat connected but all silet hill games are pretty much standalone games that don't requrire you to play the requels.

I know I was pretending to take it the wrong way by thinking you were asking me to play just Silent Hill 1 when you said "play just 1"
