I honestly don't understand why the Wii U is costing so much produce. Microsoft and SONY will be aiming to break even or make a small loss on each console at launch, and for a $400 price point, they could sell quite a powerful console.
I'm not expecting the jump that past generations have, but it will still be quite a jump. Graphics are one of the main incentives to buy a next-gen console, we're not graphics whores, we just want something new, exciting and impressive.
