Disagreeing with a proposition isn't 'defensive', in the same way that your not automatically a 'fanboy' if you prefer one console over another and you are not automatically a 'hater' because you say something that doesn't flatter the console you don't support. These words are self defining and say more about those that use them than the people they aim them at.
