Because it didn't change much from GT4 to GT5 besides adding HD and better all around visuals. Not that big of a leap. Kind of boring.

I'm just baised because I don't like sim racers. Some of the most boring and featureless games on the market in my opinion. But I love watching sales numbers for Gran Turismo ^__^

phew!! im not the only one who feels that way! my brother bought gran turismo 5 and i find it BORING as fuck!! and recently my brother also got need for speed most wanted, now that is a FUN game! the driving is sooooo much more fun in NFS

I'm also relieved to hear I'm not alone. I tried to get into Gran Turismo 3 back in the day but it bored me almost to tears. I prefer my racing games fast paced, over the top, and arcadey. :)

exactly! thats why too me the NFS underground games are the best racing games ever made. (maybe Mario kart64 is better) they are faced, over optimization to the car body and paint. adjusting how your car looked was awesome!!! add to that the second one was open world!! the games were soooo much fun i dont understand why EA wont make games like that anymore. i recommend you get the new most wanted game. its sooooooo much fun! racing sims are just a bore fest to compared to games like that

I will have to try out Most Wanted when I get the chance. Have you ever played F Zero GX? That's an amazing arcade racer.
Speaking of which, a Wii U F Zero game could well be one of my most wanted next gen games as well.
