Nintendo made the WiiU gamepad because they didnt have a better idea - opinion

honestly this is one of the reasons i asked this. and ZombiU is a third party game the idea's in it are not even their own

Not true...nintendoland demonstrates some cool uses of the controller, as do some upcoming releases...I'll reserve my judgement until more 1st party games are released.
