Using the Gamepad as an extremely useful map, where you could even take notes (sinked ship here, sharks there, etc) as well as using it as an underwater camera to take the required pics of fishes, etc.

And in HD and with better animations (for our character, not the animals that were great)... WHY HAVEN'T YOU ANNOUNCED IT ALREADY, NINTENDO?!

I so don't want this to happen.    Mainly because I don't want to shell out $400 for WiiU & Endless Ocean U (but likely would anyway).

While I'm usually critical of the gamepad, I must admit, it would be an ideal set-up for Endless Ocean and to see it in HD....

Yes, the Wii ones looked amazing (especially the 2nd one), I can't even imagine how good it would look on WiiU.

Also, taking pictures using the GamePad would be ideal. As well as using the touchscreen to touch the animals and stuff.
