How awesome would that have been? Any other Ghibli film reference would have been great. Surprised there weren't any as far as I can tell. Maybe I'm just missing it...

Don't you mean those hand drawn scenes? I wish there were more of them. There is a nice long one after you beat shadar
The hand drawn scene in Hamelin with all the buildings moving out of the way is Ghibli at full throttle.

The cgi comes close to the hand drawn quality but still falls short. Maybe next gen.

Cgi, hand drawn, lol all the same. What I meant was the scenes actually animated by Ghibli. I've seen that one! But not during my playthrough. Saw in on youtube accidently lol.
