Possibly. But we didn't really get to see how well Liberation (or indeed Black Ops Declassified) would have done launching at a different time from their home console versions.
Perhaps the best option of all (and a possibility now I think about it) is to get the handheld version out 1-2 months before the home console version. So loads of hype building for KZ4 in November, then release KZ:M in September. All the hype for KZ4 may make a few people pick up KZM, or perhaps even a Vita to tide them over until the big game releases.
That's what should have happened with Liberation & Black Ops Declassified (although I realise it couldn't, because neither game was even close to finished), but maybe we'll see it in action here.
