There was a time that 75K on any given week was a terrible result. But that was back in the day when only PS3 was selling under 100K per week. Relativity huh? When 75K is double the lowest selling non-obsolete console all of a sudden 75K looks respectable.
It's going to be sad numbers from here on. I don't see Sony or MS dropping the price of their consoles (well Vita maybe) until after their new consoles come out. Especially Sony, given they've still failed to turn a profit. If they do actually make a FY profit they might do something with PS3 pricing, but it's doubtful before PS4.
