Toon graphics for (ground-up) Wii U Zelda would be a terrible idea

Did Aonuma not suggest such a possiblity in the Nintendo Direct?

Yea, he did meantion multiplayer. But I doubt he'll follow through, since dissapointment seems to be the general theme of his zelda games.

I hope to god it's not multiplayer, it just wouldn't feel right playing a zelda game multiplayer.... Maybe that's just me... 

And that's your personal opinion, since for me, SS was by far one of my favorite game this gen with xenoblade.
