Nintendo made the WiiU gamepad because they didnt have a better idea - opinion

ZombiU is the only game that uses the gamepad well.

How can you say that they haven't used the pad in a way to benefit gameplay than say Zombi U uses it in a way to benefit gameplay? But I disagree. They are other examples of it being used in other ways to benefit gameplay. 

Nintendo themselves haven't done anything with it that benefits gameplay. ZombiU is the exception that proves the rule, as it was made by a third party.
