Just finished Killzone 3 last night. I liked it more than 2nd for sure. More variety in missions, guns and just felt better. I have no experience on the multiplayer front though.
I am not sure what kind of improvements they could make other than just more variety in locations and better story. Rest of it i'll leave it to major fans of the franchise.
