| VGKing said: I get where you're coming from but the Vita excuses have gone by. No one is defending it anymore, low sales are no longer a surprise, they are expected. Wii U sales are low at this point and you see many including me pointing it out, why? Because it is unexpected. Give it a month or two and people will stop pointing/laughing at Wii U sales either because they'll be better by then or because it's become a trend. Another thing, don't compare the Wii U to PS3. Wii U will not get the level of support the PS3 got. Combine that with the fact that Nintendo consoles peak very early.....I think the Wii U doom and gloom are articles are not only justified but they are worth discussing. Nintendo's 1st party software alone isn't enough to make their console competiive. Just look at the Gamecube. |
I think the Gamecube and XBox lost the gen before it even began. The PS2 was a behemoth the likes of we'll never see again.
The PS3 and Wii U comparison is valid. They both struggled in the early going. However, you're right about the PS3 getting a lot of support. You have the 360 to thank for that.
