Sure, the GC is only $99, but the Wii plays Gamecube games, is only $249, and is THE NEW HOTNESS that everyone is talking about. People are going to hold out for a Wii (if they can't find one) rather than spending $99 on a system that will become obsolete as soon as Wii supply catches demand.
