Also, to imply that no one gave the game a chance? It had a demo on Live and PSN, which is where ALL the complaints about gameplay/control and difficulty came from. AFTER people played the demo. DMC fans did give it a chance, didn't like it, so therefore voted with their wallets. And there most likely won't be a DmC sequel becuse of it. You just need to accept it and move on, without bashing those fans.

To the bolded, if Resident Evil stayed true it would of sold more too, but capcom done it by themselfs, what makes you think they wouldnt of done the same thing with DMC5 if they made it themselfs??.
To the rest of what you have to say. Reason why DmC supporters say its about the hair cos it pretty much is. What else have they got to complain about? the game is great, its not as easy as they tried to say it was. It has a great main character (even if his not the dante they remember). He is in no way emo as if you think his emo you must think the old dante is super emo. and the combat is great with so many different combos and moves you can use. And also the Demo was crap.

And you just proved my point. You have no argument, so all you say is the game is great and that people who don't like it because of his hair color. People hated how he looked, not because of the hair, but because he looked like a crackhead emo. They hated his immature attitude, saying fuck all the time like it was cool. Then, they got their hands on the demo, and they thought it sucked. The combat wasn't the same, nor were the controls. And it was too easy, both in difficulty and in the ability to rack up a SSS. When they brought their criticisms to NT, they basically were told that's how the final game will be, so deal with it.
Also, if you think the original Dante looks more emo than the new one, you have no idea what emo looks like.
