I'm in a quandry. TV constantly used by the misses to watch soaps, Wii can't be used cos it's the only TV. Now aside from banning soaps on the TV (along with all the nagging that'd ensue), I am trying to figure out how to connect the Wii to one of my PC monitors - one has DVI and VGA, the other just VGA.

I've tried using the Wii plugged into the TV card, but that was useless - the delays caused by the PC processing the signal ruined it.

So I'm left with looking for a cable to plug my Wii into my VGA. An internet search has come up with only one lead (if you excuse the pun) - http://www.thegametrain.com/wiiplaystation-3-vga-cable-480p720p1080i1080p-p-478.html which seems to be what I want, but alas they have none in stock. Anyone know of any better UK based providers of such cables?

I am largely platform agnostic. I fail to understand why some people get overly fanboyish about what is an inanimate piece of electronics that's obsolete even before it's launched, when there are far more important things to champion, such as preventing environmental destruction or preventing millions of people dying unnecessarily from illnesses. This fact however, doesn’t mean I am not someone who doesn’t enjoy gaming as a pastime (as I have done for the last 20 years) or doesn’t have a strong interest in how the market is evolving – hence my presence on this site.

Platforms owned – PC, DS, X-Box 360, PS3, PSP and Wii.
