Sony's stock is on the rise.. and has been on the rise for over a month.. going from just being barely worth over 10 billion, to nearing 16 billion in just a month's time..
The announcement of the Xperia Z, which sony claims will put them up there with samsung and apple, along with selling their NYC building for over 2 billion, and the hyping up of the playstation announcement for FEB 20th, has got their stock rising and rising..
That's all in the present though..
I leo-j am predicting.. that with nintendo falling terribly behind, and the WII brand continually falling apart.. SONY will return as the #1 DOMINANT console maker of the upcoming console generation, and GAKAI + PLAYSTATION will change GAMING FOREVER. Playstation plus will take over and be immitated by microsoft, and others, as playstation plus will evolve and add a streaming rental service in addition to it's current offerings.. through gakai, that allows users to stream their games to their orbis console as opposed to downloading them..
PS next will be sony's flagship device.. and will outsell the PS3's life time figures, and will make sony the CLEAR #1 of nexgen..
PLAYSTATION has gained tremendous momentum, and will continue to gaing momentum, and even with Wii U being out.. PS3 continues to dominate on the sales front, and will outsell the XBOX 360's LTD figures shortly(especially once they officially cut the ps3's price).. While Wii u begins to lag and compete with the Vita in monthly hardware sales
that is my prediction, also, my original prediction back in 2007, of a ps4 launch in 2014, is still on, but I'm expecting a 2013 release for the next playstation.. a holiday release
