1 AMD ALU do 2 operations per cycle... so 160 * 2 * 550,000,000 (550Mhz) = 176,000,000,000 = 176 GFLOPS .

And forget the ROPs because there are individual units... 8 CUs... 20 ALUs per CU... 160 ALUs.

They can have the number wrong but the maths are right for sure.
