I dont see why fans cant just see this game as an alternate universe version of DMC and enjoy it for what it is anyways and it is a great action game. If it had another name I would have bought it, beacause that would have meant that the Devil may Cry franchise, as we know it, has not been killed in order to make this game.   But considering what I (and most fans) expect from a DMC game, and the game we got, which does not represents at all what a DMC game is (I think it is at most a 7), I wont support the reboot.
