What about other countries? Canada's gun ownership rate is much lower then USA.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.

But I don't know enough about the political situation in Canada or other Countries, to say anything educated in that regard. Guns, and imo taking away existing rights is always a tricky situation. Even if there is unbiased data to back it up.
