Who said anything about it being a system seller??.
The OP was asking Bayonetta fans would they buy a WiiU for the sequal not if its a system seller.
So why the need to come in here and say such stuff??

Thats the same thing as asking whether you think its a system seller. I doubt Nintendo will split the PS360 crowd over Bayonetta.

No it isnt the same thing. If you love a game in a series the is a very good chance you will buy a system for it. Bayonetta was never a big seller but thats not the point. The OP was asking if any Bayonetta fans not Console fans would buy a WiiU for Bayonetta 2, he wasnt asking would the game be a system seller so i still dont see the point of your post..

You're being defensive, but that doesn't help the fact that the chances are high that if new consoles come this year Bayonetta is small potatoes in the short term for people who enjoyed the first Bayonetta on the PS3 and 360. A lot of people liked Bayonetta, but it doesn't mean they'll buy a console for it. Thats like asking if someone will buy a console for Ninja Gaiden just because they wanted it. Now I am not saying no one will because some might, but realistically speaking, most wont. There will have to be more than that to get people to jump to the Wii U if they have their money saved for other titles. Again, this year is stacked and it might get even more expensive for many people. I liked Bayonetta for its crazy DMC on crack-like gameplay but I find no reason for fanfare as it is an empty franchise outside gameplay stemming from of a oversexed female character with a pointless storyline. Now and I will buy a Wii U eventually and buy this...but its not worth it just for that one game. When Zelda comes out, now we're talking.

Im not being defensive. Its just your original Reply at first sounded like a bit of a troll post, untill you explained it the way you have now puts it in another light. But yeah clearly a lot of times 1 game isnt enough to make someone buy a system, but a user can say that. Like for instance your origianl reply could of been "I dont plan on buying a WiiU just for Bayonetta 2, but once some more games are out on the system i want i will pick the game up". see the difference??.

To say Bayonetta isn't a system seller in any way shape or form (even as an avid hack n slash gamer) is not trolling, but rather answering your question straight to the point about the product's absolute value from not only a hack n slash fan perspect but also a gamer who watches sales. I would buy a Nintendo for one game, but if it was an HD Zelda (personally speaking),but only with the promise that even a good amount of other great games would be there to soften the blow of a $300 purchase in 2013 when outside of the Wii U there will be a landslide of games (and possibly systems announcements) from February to June and probably beyond . It was never meant to troll and truthfully, It baffles me how such a statement can be seen as such judging by the topics name.
