I think ps4 might have a chance.
Almost every big series from the 360 came from the original xbox. But they can't continue long like this (Let's be honest, an Halo 5 would suck).
What's great with new consoles are new ips, because people tend to take the change better on new consoles. And sony has a good experience for having new surprisingly strong ip in the first second years of launch.
I mean, let's look at naughty dog for example : 1)Crash 2)Jak 3)Ucharted
Will people will buy the new xbox just for the latest FPS that will probably look better on ps4 ?
The only thing that might attract people on the next box would be cool indie success, and even so that won't make a console, of course.
