What is the future of videogaming if the Wii U wins this upcoming generation?

I doubt anything would happen really; despite maybe a move away from raw power (which would only be good for the industry anyway).

Conversely, I can see a crash in the industry if the Wii U fails (though this is less likely than the proposed scenario).
