The sad thing is, I'm seriously worried it won't be, that they actually will pull some nonsense like a bunch of game announcements for PS3/Vita, or some new service. :(

The biggest threat to a PS4 announcement is Gaikai stuff.  It could be passed that streaming is the future of Playstation so it would fit their slogan and it's a fairly big deal so they may have invited investors for it.
