I'm not sure if I really do suck at that game or not XD I always used to win in online races. But I never thought it was hard to win in single player. I thought it was hard to get three stars on every cup, because you can't even mess up once. Alas, I actually have been near the game already, I tried the demo on wii u, but was left pretty uncertain...

For me it was mainly the controls that drove me away from the game, I'll wait for Mario Kart U

I alway liked them. I'm not sure if I liked them better than regular controlls, but I thought they were good. But you know, nintendo could give me a bag of peanuts and say they were seeds from the deku tree and I would be fine with it :D I also did like skyward swords controls, so I might be a bit open to the issue.  

We should establish what game we are talking about. I didn't like SEGA All-Star's controls. Too floaty. MKWii was fine (at least with a Gamecube controller). As was Skyward Sword^^

Oh... OH :D Well, shit, I thought you were speaking of mk wii ^^ But yeah, I wasn't to fond of the controls in the demo either. The boat segments were a bit to floaty (litterally) :D  

The checkpoint-race in that lava lake drove me mad! Absolutely horrible to control!

I only played that first level since I had to play it on the tv. I guess they can't give the demos all the benefits, but I really like the off-screan play feature, so I was a bit dissapointed

o.O off-screen worked for me. I think you had to change it in the settings, though.
