1) If this game were to release on PS4/720 it would be an entirely different game or it would never have released at all.

2) Current-gen consoles are at their limits and that limits creativity and makes developers play it safe.

@bold
3) Yes it is MS and Sonys fault that publishers are milking their IP. They have milked this generation far too long.

1) No it would have been the exact same game, just with better graphics (maybe not since the game start development on the 360 and PS3 so it would technically be a port). Unless they decided to delayed the game which wouldn't have made sense financially since the game needs to sell 5m units and thus that would add even more development cost. http://www.notenoughshaders.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/8.jpg

2) Creativity doesn't come from new consoles, it comes from the ability of the developers to craft such game. Just look at some indie games this gen.

3) It's EA's fault for milking the franchise. It's not like Sony and MS ask EA to make another Dead Space game.

You obviously dont' understand.

DEAD SPACE 3 SHOULD NEVER HAVE EXISTED. At least not on current-gen consoles. So the game development wouldn't have been started on PS3/360 as these consoles SHOULD BE OLD NEWS by now.

You're the one that doesn't understand.

You say Dead space 3 shouldn't have been made on current gen consoles, and you are blaming Sony and MS...guess what? that's not their problem, it is EA's problem for putting the game on the PS360. And besides it would have been almost impossible for EA to start the development of DS3 on the new consoles since they probably didn't had the dev kits until recently. There are other factor like I mentioned before that the game already have a ridiculous amount of dev cost, putting the game on the new consoles will pretty much be suicide.

Your first comment was that you blamed the aging consoles, which is not true because other games like Halo 4 have done great (in all fronts: graphics, sales, quality, etc) with 7 year old hardware. The scrore doesn't have anything to do with the console the game is for.
