The only beat'em ups I like are all old school ones like Golden Axe and I think it's only because of nostalgia. God of War just never appealed to me as a game. Part of it could be that I don't like Kratos at all. Not even a little bit. He'd make a great villain but as a hero he is the opposite of what I want to play as. |
This right here shows the misconception of Kratos for those who have not played the franchise. He is was is known as an anti-hero. To understand the character of Kratos all of the games must be played in order. Thew newest game of Ascension will go deeper into who he was as a human being and his family life despite his issue with the furies. If you hate characters like Kratos, I am sure in comics you must also hate Wolverine, Punisher, the Hulk or even Roscharch.
