Nintendo should've offered Konami some incentives and maybe even offered to help pay for some of the cost of porting in exchange for perhaps some Wii U exclusive features ages ago, seeing as how they had a relationship with Platinum already.
Now a 3-6 month old port won't do anything for the system and judging by the Wii U's poor sales figures, it's unlikey Konami is in any rush to port this over.
