Why would they want to not support a platform that could provide revenue?

1-A grudge against Nintendo for not going alone with Origin

2-To streamline the development process of current gen & next gen games by sticking to the market leaders, which could save more money then it could potentially bring in.

3. Launch games are usually rushed because they sell like shit, so third parties rarely bother to put any real effort into them unless incentivized by the first party to do so.
