It's entirely possible that the order could be completely reversed. The general public does not care what sold the best previously, it only cares about what it perceives as the best product currently. Arrogance has derailed Sony and Nintendo in the past and it has the potential to derail Microsoft, as well, if they believe their own hype. Hopefully Sony has learned some lessons. It sounds like they have but only time will tell. If they cut out the mistakes then they have a good chance of turning the PS4 into a success. |
Actually markeshare does carry over if the company has plans in place to successfuly launch the console. From what I see so far, the PS4 won't be to expensive, it will launch at the same time, if not earlier than next Xbox and they aren't focusing purely on tech specs, but some sort of social features as well.
From what I see this isn't the arrogant Sony that unsucessfully launched the PS3.
