Except DmC hasnt moved away from its core roots. Resident evil went from a survival Horror game to a 3rd person shooter pretty much.

DmC is still a Hack and Slash game just like the older ones. The only thing thats changed imo is it now has more better floid gameplay, Better acted story and story line and the main character has changed his hair and style a bit.

Do you think the so called fans are right to be giving this game 0 scores etc on sites like metacritic etc and trying to turn people away from such a great game just cos they dont agree with how the style of the main character has changed??. Mostly when they have not even giving the game a chance to begain with??.


Im not saying DMC moved away from its roots. That was just an example of the turmoi lin the RE fanbase. Your simplifying reasons for DmC hate. its not just about appearance. They waited 4 years(?) for next DMC game and for it to completely differrent than what was expected has understandable no matter how dumb they act on Meta.

Except im not simplifying it, they really are just hating on the game for the sake of it. Im a long time DMC fan, a REAL DMC fan. i have played and owned every DMC game as soon as or not long after they where each released and finished Every DMC game too.

I hated this game when i first seen it for the very same reasons that the other "so called" DMC fans hated it cos of the change to dante (And that was what this all started over originaly i was there and seen it happen so no point telling me its not).

And they where like "Oh the game is going to suck, its not capcom making it the game is going to suck, look how much they changed dante the game is going to suck". I was like that too at first, until i started hearing more and more about the game.

And once i started seeing gameplay videos and stuff like that i started to get interested. But other so called fans didnt want to give in. The game is still going to suck just wait till you play it etc etc is what they used to say.

Then the Demo came along and they tried to make it look like their reasons for the hate was justified all along by saying stuff like "Its not only about them changing dante or not continueing the story, look see the gameplay sucks, watch how easy it is to do S rank combos by using just one attack etc etc". Then they tried to act like they played the full game and it was the same and way more easier then the older DmC games when that just wasnt the case.

This game is better then the older Devil May Cry games and the So called fans cant be happy that they get such a great game and instead would be more happy complaining when the only thing they have to complain about is that Dante has changed and the story line has not continued.

I waited 4 years for a new DmC and all i can say is im happy its this one that was released as it is the best in the series.

Everyone of your post sound just like the one's these so called hates/fakers would say  just the polar opposite. How exactly are the people who have been up CAPCOM's ass about the new Devil May Cry not fans? I would consider them more of the fans. They are raging to keep the original series going.
