To be fair though, right now, the entire industry is in a slow down state. It's still unsure if Sony and Microsoft's entries into the next gen will drastically alter that in the short term. The future of console gaming right now, while I don't think it'll go away entirely anytime soon, is in a a state of morphing and adaptation. It will be interesting to see how things progress from here.
