You are right.Europe is not sony land.
If you take a look at tv's or mobiles:both dominated by samsung,sony far behind.
It's just about the value and the fact that MS is not able to manipulate people with the media like they can in anglosaxon countries thx to Rupert Murdoch and friends.
They tell the people:you don't need wifi,hdmi,blu ray,rrod is allright,noisy console is a must and paying for online gaming is great,kinect is amazing(lol)
That's why the only europe country the 360 is outselling ps3 is murdoch media dominated UK,great in USA and good in Australia.But in most other countries far away from being no1.
In the rest of europe the market is growing in a pretty normal way.Nintendo performed great in the beginning,360 on a pretty constant level,ps3 pretty bad in the beginning with a lousy lineup,performing better year after year.
I think it is good just as it is now.360 big in USA,ps3 in europe,nintendo in japan.diversity and competetion is what we need for good quality.(Only problem-3ds is too strong.therfore I hope wii U sales will go up to 30% marketshare for a constant 3rd party support and 3ds down to 65%.The lower the 3ds sales ,the bigger the pressure,the greater the chance that the next 3ds redesign will have 2 analogsticks and an achievement like system.
