Of course having a standard hdd inside led to it's inevitable end and it was replaced by the ipod nano when that released. I almost bought an ipod mini way back, but I think I just waited and eventually got one of the ipod nano. (2nd generation) The ipod mini looks pretty sleek though. The 2nd generation ipod nano obviously took it's design cues from the ipod mini.

Well honestly, It's just like a bigger Ipod! I just find it pointless. But people buy anything from Apple! Lol
