At the moment yes, but that is not a good example. A good example would be the launch of the ps3. It was a catastrophic failure the Sony and they losing money on it left, right and center. If this happened to Nintendo, they would be out of business in a matter of months but because Sony could literally throw money at it from other areas in the company, they were able to survive.
