Maybe, but the doubt is still there.
If Iwata leaves the Co., who will be the new president? And who will make him president? If it's the board then we can hope for a transition without too many changes, but if it's the investors who choose the new president I'm not so sure that will be the case.
I mean, the investors have asked many times to put their games on mobile platforms to increase revenue and so Iwata have been able to avoid that. I wonder if a new president would be able to keep avoiding that or instead will pursue that goal. And if that's the case I'm afraid that Nintendo won't be in the hardware busines for much longer.
