@Dallas No- if she's caught trying she'll receive disciplinary action (loss of recreation priviliges, commisary, etc.)
I work in a male prison and can tell you 99% of the convicts who get "pen-pals" do it just to try to get them to put money on their commisary accounts. I've learned to beleive a convict about as far as I can throw him - meaning 99% of what comes out of their mouth is BS.
