You do realize it actually isn't being "moved forward" a year every year, right? All games that aren't released yet on Square Enix's site are listed for 2013 from what I can tell, including games with release dates that are listed as "undetermined", which is exactly what The Last Remnant for PS3 is listed as.

You're missing the fact that they manually create a new yearly page listing every year and continue to update it with new titles and release dates throughout the year. There's no way they've forgotten the game is on the list as they actively moving it every year. |
No, I greatly doubt that. Those pages are probably automated every year.

They're not automated. I know this from monitoring these pages almost every week. For example, Dragon Quest VII, Kingdom Hearts HD, Tomb Raider and Hitman were both originally in the 2012 section as recently as mid-January 2013, even though their dates were officially listed as 2013. However, in the past few days, a 2013 page has been created ans all 2013 releases (and games that are TBA) have been moved into it. Trust me, it's not automated. There's a staff member at SQEX Japan that is continually updating this area of the website and they're deliberately leaving TLR on there.
