We have to keep things in perspective. The Xbox is running a circa 2005 CPU and GPU with 512MB of RAM. Of course it's going to fall short of a PC with newer processors and far more memory.
Crytek has done well with the cards they were dealt, I don't think anyone with a working knowledge of gaming hardware expected console Crysis 2 to measure up to the PC version.
