They should've continued it because even if it didn't sell as much as Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft would still be maintaining that fanbase however small.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought this. Absolutely loved the 2008 games. They tried to do things a little differently and some older fans might not have liked it but I thought it was quite simply a joy to play.

Would love to see a sequel.

I'm playing the new one right now actually and I consider myself an "older" fan of the series. Gotta admit it's not that bad and I enjoy the art style. One thing that ticked me off about the sequels to the Sands of Time was the drastic change in art style. The games felt way too dark and "emoish", didn't really enjoy them.
