This is true but keep in mind that mobile revenue from search is pretty low at the moment. I work in online advertising and from the stats that I see, I can't imagine google making more than 1/10th on mobile compared to what makes on desktop for the same amount of impressions.

The mobile CPM's are low, their Adwords and Adsense advertising platforms don't really support mobile properly.

This may pay off in spades for them in about 5 years though.

Especially considering they are making the web browser in mobile identical to desktop. Hell in just the 3 years I've had a smartphone my browser experience has changed dramatically. I'm sure in 3 more I won't be able to tell Chrome in my phone/tablet apart from Chrome in my desktop. (gotta hurry up and remove flash from interwebz)
