Office 2013 isn't at all touch optimised as far as I can tell, but I think it works really nicely. As far as I can tell, it is not a significant upgrade, but feels really nice and zippy, so having been using the preview for a while, I thought I might as well get the full version since I don't have any of the old ones on this computer
